Name: TDB
Thank you for this. I watched Dave since the 90's and he
is sorely missed.
Name: Sandra
Where is he now? I couldn't believe The Weather Channel
fired him and I can't believe they think the changes they made
are an improvement. What were they thinking and what are
they thinking now. The Perfect Storm?
Name: Terrence from CO
Glad to find this site and I wrote to everyone.
Name: Nathan
I was one who watched Dave Schwartz frequently and for
an hour or more sometimes, just for the entertainment.
Would like to see him back on The Weather Channel.
Name: Martin
Please bring Dave back.
Name: Mc
Good site. I wish I thought TWC was interested in what
viewers think.
Name: Laura
Bring back Dave! I used to have so much fun watching and
he kept us up to the minute whenever there was a serious weather
story.
Name: Ross F.
Dave was a big inspiration to me; I loved to watch him on TWC
and I did so for the entire time he was on. I suddenly wondered
what happened to him as I was away from home when he was
apparently given the axe. NBC is a very dangerous organization,
set to unload its extremely liberal agenda on all of us. It's
too bad they now own TWC, I hardly watch TWC now. I only hope
Dave is healthy, happy and working someplace where he is very
much appreciated. Thanks, Dave, it was like we both knew each
other for all those years. It was as though you were speaking to
me alone on TWC. God bless and stay well.
Name: Farlen A.
I'll be very happy if Dave gets back to TWC. There is
no one like him. I watched him since 2006 and his positive
attitude and his humor makes the cast even more enjoyable. I
want him back on the Weather Channel.
Name: Karen
Dave used to 'keep me company' in my family room when he did the
late night forecasting earlier in this decade. Was always a
cheerful voice to fall asleep to through uncomfortable
pregnancies, anxiety over losing several relatives, and any
other assorted stressors that had me on the couch with the TV on
at 1 am. This is such a huge mistake. He is an absolute riot. I
remember thinking to myself when watching him one of those late
nights that they are lucky to have this guy coming on there with
such a positive attitude working that night shift like he did a
couple times a week. What a poor move on NBC's part. I have
heard he is doing the local weather in Atlanta now. Wish we
could have him back on a broader level though. sigh

I just found our that Dave is gone I am so sad I live in Ca Palm
Springs we dont get much weather but Dave was like part of the
family I looked forward to watching him forcast the weather. TWC
is not the same since he is gone....Please bring him Back
Name: Sad ex-twc fan
The weather will never be the same without Dave bringing it :(
Name: Steven J
I read his bio and discovered why I
always liked him. He's a fellow Delaware Valley-ite. Since his
departure, I *NEVER* look at the weather channel on TV. *NEVER*
Name: Donna
Today is 1/1/10. I remember watching Dave on
new years eve 2000. He wore a tuxedo on air that night. It was
great!
Name: Robert Olivia
Yes, by all means bring back Dave! "Friends."
What a dumb headed thing to let him get away from the WC. Yea,
he is wacked but he has a special way of teaching too. I always
feel like I learned something about the weather after his
forecast.
Name: Anthony Davidson
I stopped watching when I heard the very sad
news. Dave Schwartz connected so well with people. He was so
comfortable on screen that no one could come close to his to his
on screen persona. He had great little facts that he would share
about every city he would mention. I cannot believe he is not
there. I watched him when he worked the overnight hours, and
when he went to the evenings, me and my family watched and
enjoyed his expertise and he awesome humor. Until they bring him
back, I will NOT watch The Weather Channel.
Name: Brent
Ditto. Simply the best I've seen. What a
shame that a talent like him (Dave) no longer has national
exposure. TWC apparently didn't know what they had! Still a big
fan.
Name: Helene White
Hi Dave, I miss you so much! I've been asking
people if they've seen you, or where you went? I just discovered
this web site, and I'm so glad there are so many of us who want
you back. I've sent some highly critical e-mails to the poobahs of TWC. Not that they usually listen, or care. But
I also sent a request to CNN for you to be brought on. But,
wherever you go, I'd like to know so that I can enjoy you once
again.

Wherever Dave is at I hope he is happy and is doing
well...I greatly miss his forecasting, which was more than that
- he has a unique, captivating personality which is sorely
missed.
Name: Carol Reichhold
Great weatherman. Miss him a lot. Since
NBC bought
The Weather Channel it hasn't been very good. Hope they see
their mistake and bring him back.
Name: Denny
NBC has taken the low road once again with the choice
of "fluff" over content at TWC. It makes me sad for the likes of
Dave to become a victim of that buffoon Jeff Zucker.
Name: Deborah McCullough
He was my favorite especially during a storm-- always
told it like it was and humorously too. Remember the blizzard of
March 93? Miss seeing him and don't watch like I used to. He's
an original
Name: Chris Biby
Next to Cantore, Dave Schwartz was (is) my favorite
weather channel personality. The weather channel has progressed
from a truly informational weather network to a soft, human
interest network, which probably helps ratings. Dave probably
does not fit that role. Hopefully he is happy in his current
role. Pretty soon the weather channel will feature local on the
8's. 8pm and 8am
Name: Tom
We still miss your smiling face and good humor on
TWC. The place is not the same without you.
Name: Liana
Thanks so much for this site. I used to purposely
stay up in the early hours of the morning just to watch him. I
miss him so much, and this site really lifted my spirits. I hope
he knows he has a following like this.
Name: Billie
I hate that Dave is still gone!! We hardly watch it
anymore! He was refreshing and so witty and quick with his
words.......BRING DAVE BACK!!!
Name: Richard
I too miss watching/listening to Dave Schwartz. After
his departure I found myself watching TWC less frequently - two
or three times a week. When they gave Jim Cantore more air-time
and brought on Al Roker in the morning that was it. TWC had lost
its credibility as an authoritative source. I did not watch TWC
to be entertained. What NBC has done with TWC is unrelated in
time and space to good management.
Name: Bob
BRING DAVE BACK AND FIRE AL.
Name: Nellie
Unbelievable. To the NBC brass, Al Roker is a great
weatherman, but he absolutely is NOT America's favorite. His
hayday was about 20 years ago. What a mistake NBC made. Please
bring back Dave Schwartz!
Name: Robert
I liked Dave. I watched him off and on.
He was funny. I miss him. Bring him back! Now I watch Stephanie
Abrams. She is cute and funny.
Name: Elmer Pierce
I miss Dave on The Weather Channel. Radio &
TV execs.
are BONE HEADS!
Name:
Allan
Please bring back Dave!!! Enough of the Wake up with
Al nonsense. And enough with Stephanie Abrahms! Mr Jeff Zucker
you can't even run a late night line up let alone The Weather
Channel. I hope that the Comcast purchase of NBC doesn't make
things even worse.
Name:
Shaun Paul
When I was in college it was due to Dave that I recall ever
having a "favorite" weather person. Too bad. He is missed!!!!
Name:
Roger-Miami
TWC continues to have problems and Dave will do well somewhere
else. I really like the repeat show with Al, he lets me know
what the weather was like 4 hours ago. Just watch TWC today and
it's totally changed, there are better sources for weather. Good
luck Dave.
